PMW Aero, LLC Receives Boeing DPD Approval

LIBERTY, S.C., September 15, 2023 -- PMW Aero, a rapidly growing provider of high-quality precision machined components to the aerospace and defense community today proudly obtained the Digital Product Definition (DPD) approval from Boeing, one of the world’s largest aerospace manufacturers, following a comprehensive auditing process. This approval marks a significant milestone in our ongoing commitment to quality and continuous Improvement.


The DPD approval allows PMW Aero to perform digital product surveillance activities in compliance with Boeing’s D6-51991 requirements. Our documented processes for controlling Boeing-furnished datasets as the authority for design, manufacture, and inspection were rigorously evaluated and approved.


This Boeing DPD/MBD approval adds to our growing list of certifications and registrations, which include AS9100D with ISO 9001:2015 and ITAR. We remain committed to delivering the highest standards of precision manufacturing for aerospace and defense customers.
